Barry Magid

Barry Magid, born in 1949, is a Zen teacher, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst committed to the integration of psychodynamic psychotherapy and Zen. He founded and teaches at the Ordinary Mind Zendo in New York City. He is a Dharma heir of Charlotte Joko Beck, and his own Dharma heirs include Claire Slemmer.
